Job summary

Villari Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Harvest Plant to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment with at least one year of experience. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, fabricating parts, stocking inventories, and ensuring a safe work environment at our North Carolina facility.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, and a Bachelor’s degree or related experience is welcomed. Food industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and production machines.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems and components.
• Willingness to obtain or have a licensed mechanic status is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure operation of machinery, motors, pneumatic tools, and production lines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing equipment in operation and using precision instruments.
• Control downtime by implementing routine maintenance and monitoring compliance.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and instrumentation.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies and place orders as needed.
• Conserve maintenance resources and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
• Provide mechanical maintenance information and respond to questions from colleagues.
• Contribute to team efforts and achieve related results as needed.
