Job summary

Sandvik Mining & Rock, a global leader in mining equipment and solutions, seeks a 1stShift Inbound Operations Manager to lead all inbound activities within an FTZ facility. You will manage cross-functional teams, implement process improvements, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements across shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse leadership, experience with WMS (Blue Yonder a plus), SAP, and Power BI, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree in distribution, warehouse, logistics, or transportation.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience in a distribution or logistics environment.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience and inventory control experience.
• OSHA knowledge and safety/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance of policies, SOPs, safety, and environmental practices.
• Oversee inbound operations across all shifts: receiving, unloading, verification, staging, put away.
• Optimize operational efficiency; monitor KPI, costs, and SOP adherence.
• Lead change management initiatives and adopt new processes or systems.
• Monitor inbound volume, staffing, and equipment; adjust resources as needed.
• Coordinate with inbound, inventory control, and transportation to resolve issues.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve end-to-end workflow.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement.
