Job summary

Southern States LLC is seeking an Assembly Supervisor I for 1st shift to lead a manufacturing team in assembly and testing of medium and high voltage electrical products. You will read prints, direct daily operations, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will coach employees, maintain production reports, and collaborate with QA to uphold standards. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, electrical schematics, safety rules, and assembly procedures.
• Ability to coach and mentor employees individually and in groups.
• Effective public speaking to groups and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team on the assembly and testing line for medium/high voltage products.
• Ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and efficiency goals are met.
• Maintain detailed production reports and improve processes with cross-functional teams.
• Schedule work, review performance, and coordinate training.
