Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in York, SC is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, stock and deliver materials, and maintain inventory accuracy per safety and 5S standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), 0–2 years of related experience, and the ability to work under direct supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including operating powered industrial equipment.
• Powered equipment certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to perform work under direct supervision.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling practices.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems and RF technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive, store, move, stage, and ship materials and supplies.
• Complete shipments by processing, staging, and loading orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transactions and documentation.
• Adhere to 5S, safety, and quality standards.
• Report safety hazards or incidents promptly.
