Qualifications

• Forklift experience and preferred certification.
• Mathematical aptitude for handling inventories and measurements.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Put inventory away in designated storage locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and activity records.
• Transport materials to various locations throughout the facility.
• Secure loads before transport to ensure safety.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment for damage or maintenance concerns.
• Follow operating procedures and maintain required documentation.
• Complete assignments accurately, safely, and according to production schedules.
• Operate and manage equipment safely and effectively.
• Exchange propane tanks as needed.
• Restack lumber when piles become displaced or require adjustment.
• Assist team members in the yard and production areas as needed.
• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures while identifying workplace hazards.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
