Job summary

McIntosh Box and Pallet Company is hiring a 1st Shift Production Team Member in Palermo, NY. You will operate wood processing equipment to cut material and build pallets, while ensuring accuracy, safety and efficiency.

The role requires reliability, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, with shift hours from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay starts at $17+ per hour and scales with experience.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Nail guns and saws experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with hands.

Responsibilities

• Run wood processing equipment such as cut-off saws, notchers and stake pointers.
• Build specialty pallets and skids.
• Perform maintenance on equipment such as changing blades and greasing.
• Keep production areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety management standards.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.
• Operate and manage technical equipment.
