Job summary

Ferrero is hiring a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Augusta, GA. The role focuses on operating assigned lines, maintaining production quality, and meeting line speed standards while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

You will record production data, manage materials for each SKU, and perform changeovers with line associates. The position requires basic math, the ability to interpret machinery diagrams, and passing food-safety training.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic math, reading level to understand machinery diagrams and technical instructions.
• Physical: Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods.
• Certifications and training: ability to pass machine operation and food safety programs.
• Computer skills: basic entry for inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production lines and ensure quality and line speed standards.
• Record production details including line rates and downtime.
• Ensure materials are supplied for each SKU and manage changeovers as required.
• Adhere to SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and maintain food safety and quality systems.
• Assist with training and direct line associates as directed by supervisor.
