Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is hiring a Machine Operator - Filler for 1st shift in Massachusetts. This role runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates and a rate of $21.00 per hour.

You will operate filler equipment, document checks, and ensure packaging quality. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow SOPs, maintain GMP standards, and collaborate with multiple departments to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate filler equipment following regulatory standards.
• Clean, set up, operate, and monitor production line equipment.
• Complete documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and packaging quality.
• Adjust filler timing and filling; check material as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Collect samples for quality assurance testing.
• Prepare equipment for next run and size changes as needed.
• Maintain communication with other departments and report issues.
