Job summary

Tyson Foods Wilkesboro Plant is seeking a 1st Shift Janitor to maintain cleanliness of non-production areas. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.

Qualifications

• Must understand labels, read recipes and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
• On-the-job training provided; must be trained on Blood Borne Pathogens.
• 6 months work history in the last 12 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean non-production areas, halls, offices, restrooms and break areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, strip and wax floors, collect and dispose trash.
• Operate cleaning machinery and lift 50+ pounds as needed.
• Climb stairs and work in areas with strong smells, cold or damp conditions.
