Job summary

FUCHS PETROLUB SE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Kansas City, KS operations. This hands-on role focuses on reliability, safety, and efficiency to keep manufacturing running smoothly on the first shift.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a global organization that values teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience (120-480 VAC).
• Experience with motors, drives, pumps, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and perform basic calculations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintain pumps, hydraulic systems, compressed air systems, and steam equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot motors, controls, and VFDs.
• Support facility and production equipment reliability initiatives.
• Complete maintenance-related projects and equipment installations.
• Document maintenance activities and work performed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
