Job summary

FUCHS PETROLUB SE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Kansas City, KS operations. This hands-on role focuses on reliability, safety, and efficiency to keep manufacturing running smoothly on the first shift.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a global organization that values teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience (120-480 VAC).
• Experience with motors, drives, pumps, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and perform basic calculations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Compensation

Starting pay: $37+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting experience (120-480 VAC)
• Experience working with motors, drives, pumps, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification, vocational training, or trade school education
• VFD troubleshooting experience
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Pipefitting experience including threaded and flanged systems
• Mechanical seal and industrial pump experience
