Job summary

IHI Connectors is seeking a production assembler for a 1st shift position in Mentor, OH. The role involves building electrical junction blocks, performing repetitive assembly, and maintaining the automatic screw table. Daily tasks include inspecting parts for quality and following job sheets to ensure accuracy.

The candidate must frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally 40 pounds, with standard 8:00 am–4:30 pm hours. Prior experience with screw tables and basic machine upkeep is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to perform repetitive assembly with ~1,000 motion cycles per hour.
• Capable of lifting 35 lb frequently and 40 lb occasionally.
• Assemble screws and components into electrical junction blocks using tools.
• Inspect parts for quality per written/verbal instructions.
• Set up and adjust automatic screw table; perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive assembly operations and maintain production flow.
• Inspect components during assembly for quality compliance.
• Box parts and prepare for next processing steps.
• Operate the counting scale to verify quantities.
• Maintain and set up the automatic screw table as required.
