Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Quality Inspector in Morgan Hill, CA, for a day-shift role within a premier manufacturing environment. You will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on CNC-machined parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.

The job requires reading complex drawings with GD&T, generating FAIRs, and managing non-conforming materials and calibration tracking.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years quality inspection in CNC machine shop.
• Strong use of manual inspection tools and reading complex prints with GD&T.
• ISO 9001 quality management system experience; ISO 13485 a plus.
• CMM operating experience; CMM programming desirable.

Responsibilities

• Precision Inspection: perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on CNC-machined components.
• Documentation & Reporting: generate FIRST article inspections (FAIR) and ensure records are complete.
• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: interpret drawings and apply GD&T to verify dimensions.
• Non-Conformance & RMRs: identify and segregate non-conforming materials with management.
• Calibration Management: oversee calibration tracking for shop tools and employee tooling.
• Operations Support: assist with inventory labeling/counting and packing/shipping prep.
