Daubert Chemical Company is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead a batch process chemical facility. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while mentoring a team of chemical operators on the plant floor.

Responsibilities include updating SOPs, coordinating with other leaders, and implementing 5S practices to maintain a clean, compliant workspace. A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience is preferred, along with ERP and MS Office proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or technical discipline preferred; leadership experience required.
• 3+ years of chemical manufacturing supervision or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a production team in a batch process chemical facility, promoting safety and teamwork on the plant floor.
• Ensure work follows SOPs, safety guidelines, ISO 9000; apply 5S to keep a clean, organized work area.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and participate in cross-department sub-teams as needed.
• Supervise chemical operators; mentor and coach to develop a high-performance team.
• Update SOPs, batch instructions and other documents to support quality and chemical processes.
• Coordinate with other production leaders to plan schedules and manage workflow for uninterrupted production and accurate inventory.
• Assess decisions against budget, explaining deviations.
• Evaluate performance, provide feedback; collaborate with HR on hiring, promotions, conflicts, and discipline.
• Issue and follow up on maintenance work orders to keep processes reliable.
• Oversee and facilitate operator training on equipment, work practices, and safety; ensure timely, effective completion.
