Job summary

Hilltop Health and Rehab in Rutherfordton, NC is seeking experienced CNAs to join our resident-centered team. You will assist residents with bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating while maintaining dignity and safety.

We offer Full Time AM 8 and 12 Hour shifts, PRN and Part Time across all shifts, vaccination recommendations with case-by-case accommodations, and opportunities for excellent training and competitive pay with benefits in a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have NC CNA certification.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment; accommodations available where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, feeding, dressing and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff and communicate with residents, families and staff.

Available Shift Details:

Full Time AM 8 and 12 Hour

PRN - All shifts

Part Time - All shifts

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
