Job summary

Sapphire Ridge Health and Rehabilitation, part of the Ascent Health family, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our resident-centered team in Forest Hills, NC. We offer daily pay and a NO FRILLS package with higher wages, plus opportunities for professional growth.

All shifts are available, including 8- and 12-hour options. CNAs will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vitals, and report changes to nursing staff while maintaining confidentiality and delivering

Qualifications

• Willingness to make a difference.
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management, asking clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

Shift Details:
