Job summary

Belden Inc in California is seeking an experienced machine operator to operate and maintain cabling equipment on the 1st shift. The standard shift is Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 1pm. Starting pay: $22 per hour.

You will read and follow manufacturing specifications, adjust processes to bring product to spec, set up auxiliary equipment, ensure safety, complete paperwork, and work as part of a team to push forward Belden's innovative connectivity solutions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation desired.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows manufacturing specifications to determine machine setup, materials, and quantity.
• Analyzes product attributes and adjusts processes to bring product to spec; reports discrepancies.
• Sets up and operates various auxiliary equipment.
• Maintains personal and team safety in the work area.
• Completes paperwork and production postings accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
