Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Weslaco, TX is seeking an Assembly Worker to perform a variety of manual tasks on the floor, including cleaning, assembling, packaging and inspecting parts in line with standard procedures. You will use simple assembly tools and work as part of a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Ideal candidates have a GED or equivalent, can read instructions, communicate orally, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate orally.
• Must have manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Packaging phase, which consists of boxing, etc.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work area.
• Review work assignments with team members and supervisor to ensure all materials, supplies and components are available and in good condition.
• Ensure the tasks that are being performed meet quality and productivity standards.
• Work according to the Employee Guidelines, which include all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.
