Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Solon, Ohio to perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair on building systems and equipment. The role requires diagnosing issues and executing repairs to meet quality standards.

You will follow blueprints and manuals, maintain maintenance records, train others, and ensure safety compliance. This is a first-shift position starting between 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment to identify air, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance per schedules and manuals.
• Ability to mentor and train others on maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine air, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical solutions
• Perform needed repairs or maintenance in accordance with blueprints, manuals, building codes or other accepted quality work practices
• Develop and perform preventative maintenance of machines and equipment to prevent future and reoccurring issues
• Perform minor repair of all buildings and equipment
• Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts, and order parts as needed
• Complete projects assigned, complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures
• Mentor and train other employees on intermediate preventative maintenance tasks
• Assure all departments comply with all written health and safety regulations and procedures
• Provide maintenance and safety records to supervisor when requested
• Perform job rotations during scheduled workday depending on production needs
