Job summary

Rise Baking Company is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician I for the first shift to help keep our manufacturing facilities safe and productive. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, and help minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of facility systems, and experience in building maintenance or a technical field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in building maintenance or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and departments to coordinate repairs and minimize production disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
