Job summary

Colony Brands, Inc. is seeking dependable Maintenance Technicians to support bakery operations with hands-on equipment and facility maintenance. The role covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to keep production running smoothly.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment setup; provide safety-compliant work; and assist with documentation of work orders and parts inventory. Openings on 1st and 2nd shift.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent or two years of technical field training; Machine Maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including drive chains, timing belts, gearboxes, bearings and lubrication.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Electrical license is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to work requests from Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Tech, and bakery staff.
  • Troubleshoot production processes and identify additional repair work.
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on wiring, control panels, motors, and components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Support installation and setup of new equipment, including electrical connections.

Job description

We’re looking for dependable and skilled Maintenance Technicians to support our bakery operations through hands‑on equipment and facility maintenance. This role involves mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, with a focus on keeping production running smoothly. Experience with electrical maintenance is highly valued, and an electrical license is preferred.

We have openings on 1st and 2nd shift.

What You’ll Do

Our Maintenance Technicians perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting for a wide variety of bakery equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You’ll set up machinery for production runs and maintain documentation of work orders and parts inventory. Our team performs building and office maintenance as needed. In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Responding to work requests from Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Tech, and other Bakery staff
  • Troubleshooting production processes and identifying additional repair work needed
  • Performing electrical maintenance and repairs, including diagnosing and fixing wiring, control panels, motors, and other electrical components
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
  • Supporting installation and setup of new equipment, including electrical connections
Qualifications

We need an individual who is able to work independently and make decisions with confidence. In addition, we are looking for an individual who is able to prioritize work assignments in a fast paced work environment. Ideally, you will possess skills to operate a forklift and have welding and machining skills.
