Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Band all products in sub-bundles per forklift operator instructions.
• Band main bundles to poles of trailer without damage.
• Band all loose products to poles of trailer without damage.
• Strap load with 4" or 2" straps, provided by owner of trailer, without damage to the product.
• Keep banding tools in good working condition and dispose of scraps; keep the area clean.
• Pick up scrap banding and keep the work area clean.
• Touch up paint before loading on trailer as required.
• Maintain a clean/tidy work area.
• Stay in designated work area.
• Work until 10 minutes before quitting time and then secure banding tools.
• Report any product damaged due to banding or strapping to gate counter, forklift operator, team lead, supervisor, or plant manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds routinely and climb up to 14' off the ground.
