Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a packaging operator for our automated bagger line. You will start/stop the machine, troubleshoot jams, load film, and ensure correct labeling and packaging per customer requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following GMPs and OSHA protocols, and communicating with machine operators to ensure accurate counts and changeovers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs, OSHA safety and all company procedures.
• Proficient with vertical form and seal baggers.
• Check every bag for customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Inform Kitchen Operators of packaging issues.
• Verify shift, bagger and line paperwork for accuracy.
• Know and apply standard food manufacturing practices.
