Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks an operator for the 1st shift at our Richmond, KY plant. You will monitor high-tonnage stamping presses, verify quality per JES and Plex ERP records, and ensure accurate labeling and packaging of parts.

This role requires reading and following work instructions, maintaining safety, and assisting with routine housekeeping. You will load coils, perform inspections, and complete operator sheets daily.

Qualifications

• Requires English reading/writing speaking to safely perform duties.
• Requires basic math and ability to follow written work instructions.
• Must maintain safety and cleanliness in work area.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor up to 1,000 Ton automatic presses to ensure quality stampings per standards.
• Reference production orders and JES in Plex to stamp parts.
• Load correct coils and manage materials for stamping.
• Complete daily paperwork and inspection sheets; perform routine housekeeping.
