Ingersoll Rand is seeking an enthusiastic Assembler I for the Southern Pines, NC site. You will perform assembly tasks, interpret drawings, and ensure components meet quality standards.

Daily work involves using hand tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment to build and stage products for testing and shipment. The role requires basic manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift certification is required to operate forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials for construction.
• Assemble parts according to standard work and bill of materials.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners per torque specs.
• Set up and operate presses and identification equipment.
• Test product for specification compliance using test equipment.
• Paint, label and pack finished products for shipment.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and report safety issues.
