Valor Counseling Center PLLC seeks a Licensed Counselor for First Responder Wellness to provide individual, couples, and family counseling. You will use attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches to support first responders and their families in Holly Springs or Cary, NC.

This full-time hybrid role combines in-office sessions with telehealth, requires NC licensure (LCMHC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent), strong assessment and treatment planning skills, and a collaborative, ethical practice.

Qualifikationen

• Active NC licensure as LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed and attachment-focused therapy to high-stress populations.
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning with careful documentation.
• Ability to integrate mental, physical, and spiritual wellness in a holistic approach.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with hybrid work, including in-person sessions in Cary, NC and telehealth from home.
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and inclusive care for diverse first responder communities.
• Prior experience with first responder organizations is a plus.

Aufgaben

• The Licensed Counselor will provide individual, couples, and family counseling to first responders and their loved ones using attachment-based and trauma-informed interventions.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and coordinating care with other providers.
• Engage in preventative wellness programming, such as psychoeducation, resiliency-building workshops, and outreach to first responder agencies.
• Participate in case consultations, adhere to ethical and regulatory standards, and contribute to a collaborative practice culture.
