Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Detroit is seeking a Security Officer First Responder to provide basic emergency medical care to team members and guests while delivering exceptional guest service. You will patrol the property, assist in evacuations, and handle gaming drops and transactions as part of daily duties.

The role requires an active Michigan EMT license, a valid driver's license, and a flexible schedule with ready weekend availability; starting rate is $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan EMT license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexible schedule with at least one month's advance notice.
• Must be available to work one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a First Responder in emergency situations.
• Patrols and monitor all areas of the property.
• Provides excellent guest service to guests and employees.
• Performs gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.
• Resolves complaints and issues involving both guests and employees.
• Responds to emergencies as needed.
