Partners Legal Search is pursuing an Associate for a national insurance litigation platform with a Texas license and 5+ years of first-party insurance experience. The role offers ownership of a docket, autonomy, and mentorship with national carriers.

You will handle pleadings, depositions, and settlements across commercial and residential property claims, UM/UIM, and coverage disputes, while building client relationships. Remote-flexible Texas practice.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 5+ years of first-party insurance litigation experience, preferably involving property coverage disputes.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and litigation strategy skills.
• Experience independently managing insurance litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active first-party insurance litigation docket from inception through resolution.
• Take primary responsibility for assigned matters with guidance as needed.
• Defend first-party bad faith and insurance coverage litigation (property, UM/UIM, Stowers).
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; report to clients.
• Handle depositions, hearings, settlements, and other phases to resolution.
• Maintain strong client relationships through communication and results.
