Job summary

DuPont is seeking a First Line Leader to lead a team on the shop floor at our Valley View, Ohio site. This role focuses on safe, reliable, and quality production through coaching and direct leadership of frontline staff.

The candidate will develop employees, drive standard work, and maintain strong adherence to safety, quality, and operational metrics while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• FLL is a people leadership and daily management role focused on safety, quality and reliability production through others.
• Develops employees through coaching and feedback and reinforces DuPont Core Values and standard work.
• Requires visible shop-floor presence and ability to manage multiple priorities while developing direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Translate area priorities into daily shop-floor execution and performance goals.
• Coach employees using structured problem solving and 5-Why analysis; escalate when needed.
• Execute Leader Standard Work routines: area walks, start-of-shift activities, daily huddles, handovers, area reviews.
• Manage time and attendance, staffing, overtime planning, and daily work assignments.
• Develop and continuously improve critical operating systems to optimize process design and reliability.
