Job summary

Logos Space seeks the first in-house Legal Counsel to bridge aerospace innovation with strategic legal strategy, shaping contracts, governance, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with executives to negotiate complex commercial agreements, support fundraising rounds, and build the company’s legal infrastructure from the ground up.

Ideal candidates have 8–10+ years of legal experience, a JD, California Bar, and a builder mindset.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership.
• 8–10+ years of legal experience at a top law firm with in-house experience at a high-growth tech/aerospace startup.
• Proven track record leading, drafting, and negotiating highly complex commercial transactions and technology agreements; experience with large-scale fundraising rounds.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and close complex commercial transactions, strategic partnerships, anchor customer agreements, and vendor contracts; familiarity with USG procurement is a plus.
• Lead institutional fundraising rounds (Series A–C) and corporate financing; coordinate due diligence with outside counsel.
• Build the legal infrastructure: templates, NDA processes, contract management workflows, and policies.
