Job summary

Babson College’s First-Gen & Limited-Income Network seeks student Navigators to support financial wellness and basic needs resources for first-generation and limited-income undergraduates.

The role offers 3–4 hours per week in-office with occasional events. Candidates should be Babson students with strong communication, confidentiality, and outreach skills, plus familiarity with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Enrollment as a Babson College student (required)
• Cumulative GPA 2.5 or higher at start of employment
• Willingness to engage with peers, faculty, and staff
• Ability to demonstrate confidentiality with students
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3–4 office hours per week for peer advising focused on financial wellness
• Assist with outreach, content creation, and resource development
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of student information
• Prepare and submit weekly appointment notes; escalate concerns to staff
• Participate in campus events and information sessions to promote resources
