Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road facility in Eden Prairie, MN is hiring a Production Worker I to join a brand-new production line as its first employee. You'll help establish production standards, optimize processes, and test recipes on newly installed equipment to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.

Our ideal candidate enjoys hands-on problem solving and shaping how a new manufacturing operation runs from day one.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery, multi-task, interpret and follow precise instructions.
• Comply with USDA, FDA, OSHA, AIB and all other regulatory agencies while complying with good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and packaging for scheduled production.
• Operate processing and packaging equipment.
• Follow recipes and schedules for soups, dressings, and other products.
• Monitor quality and report safety or equipment concerns.
• Complete production records and temperature/lot documentation.
• Pack, label, palletize, and move finished product per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and equipment.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily goals.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Create a safe working environment.
• Keep area clean and safe.
