Job summary

American Carbonyl LLC is seeking a Second-Class Operator to perform duties on IPC Towers, decomposers, and packaging lines, with advancement to First-Class Operator after training and qualification. The role includes forklift operation, material movement to the warehouse, and continuous safety compliance.

The candidate will support unscheduled maintenance, perform inspections, and provide relief coverage for the Lead Operator.

Qualifications

• Two years of operating chemical process equipment; able to demonstrate basic math skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance tools is a plus; able to perform basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate IPC Towers, decomposers, power mills, and packaging per plant procedures.
• Operate forklifts to move material to the warehouse.
• Perform housekeeping of the work area and move/store materials with pallet jacks and lifts.
• Perform safety equipment inspections and tag out equipment as needed.
• Assist with scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and support installation operations.
