Confidential Employer in the Garland, TX area seeks an experienced plaintiff personal injury trial attorney to join a respected litigation team. You will handle high-value cases from filing through resolution and serve as first-chair trial counsel in jury trials.

The ideal candidate has Texas bar in good standing, 4+ years of plaintiff PI experience, and strong skills in drafting and negotiations. This full-time, on-site role offers strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Proven first-chair jury trial experience.
• Strong understanding of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Experience drafting demands, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Excellent courtroom, negotiation, legal writing, and research skills.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from lawsuit filing through final resolution.
• Serve as first-chair trial attorney in jury trials.
• Develop litigation strategies that maximize client recoveries.
• Draft demands, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trial.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional legal representation.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff.
