Job summary

Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to support day-to-day golf operations and elevate the guest experience. You will work with the Director of Golf to oversee operations, verify charges, monitor pace, and help run tournaments.

Ideal candidates have PGA status (member or apprentice), 5+ years golf ops experience, strong communication, and a service mindset. This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the club.

Qualifications

• PGA Member or PGA Apprentice in good standing.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of golf operations experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Director of Golf.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, lockers, and other charges, and facilitate proper controls.
• Monitor the reservation system and pace of play.
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament operations.
• Assist in merchandise purchasing and receiving.
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff to meet facility objectives.
