JOB SUMMARY:
Functions under the direct supervision of the attending surgeon. Conforms to the guidelines established by AORN and NBSTSA (professional organizations for operating room nurses and surgical technologists) and SHS Policy.

REQUIRED:
BSN, Completion of accredited RNFA course/internship that meets the criteria established by AORN for RN First assistant programs. Minimum of 1 year of diversified OR experience.
PREFERRED:
Current CNOR certification and CRNFA.
