Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Firmware Test Intern to join our Milwaukee-area team on-site. You will design and automate test scripts, document procedures, execute tests, and contribute to lab audits while learning from experienced engineers in a hands-on lab environment.

You will work full-time while pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with opportunities to grow skills in C++, Python, and embedded systems, and engage in Rockwell’s inclusive culture and engineering community.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of scripts for automating test procedures
• Document test procedures
• Execute test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated)
• Assistance with lab audit/improvement activities
• Resolve and document exceptions and questions.
• Create test reports
• Help with build and commissioning of test firmware and hardware platforms
