Job summary

Midmark Corporation is offering an IT Software Development Co-Op for Summer 2026, bridging academics and hands-on firmware/software development in a manufacturing setting. You will work with Scrum Teams to design, analyze, and test software applications, while gaining experience in API development, CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure as code.

Enrollment in a 4-year degree program in computer science or related field is required; familiarity with languages such as C#, Java, Python, or .Net

Qualifications

Enrollment in a 4-year degree program in CS or related field is required.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#, Java, Python, .Net).
Experience with data storage/query services (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, NoSQL, Cosmos DB).
Experience with API development & JSON is preferred.
Familiarity with Azure services and IaC is preferred.
Knowledge of test automation and CI/CD concepts.
DevOps concepts such as automated infrastructure and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Scrum Teams to build, support, and maintain IT software applications.
Create or update user stories to support software design concepts.
Develop APIs for data exchange.
Build CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Create automated test scripts to demonstrate quality of software solutions.
Develop automated infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
