Job summary

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• + years’ experience with C and C++ software development.
• Experience with microcontrollers and peripherals (timers, ADC, UART, SPI, I2C).
• Experience with closed loop control and motor drive systems.
• Understanding of Field Oriented Control and embedded RTOS concepts.
• Experience with hardware and software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced motor control algorithms.
• Design, simulate, implement, and test motor control functionality in embedded systems.
• Provide leadership to achieve performance and technology objectives.
• Develop solutions for electrification of power tools and outdoor equipment.
• Document designs and decisions for team clarity.
• Mentor junior engineers and track progress against deadlines.
