Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a Firmware Engineering Manager in Fremont, CA to lead our embedded software team responsible for the robot firmware and sensor networks. You will shape architecture, drive robust, production-ready firmware, and partner with hardware and control teams to deliver integrated robot systems.

You will mentor engineers, manage performance cycles, and ensure rigorous engineering practices, with travel for project needs as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a team of senior embedded software engineers.
Champion the existing team's talent and represent their needs to senior leadership.
Mentor engineers and foster technical rigor and ownership.
Manage performance cycles, create individualized development plans.
Contribute to the C++ firmware architecture driving sensor network, controls, and power management.
Work with cross-disciplinary teams to solve software-hardware integration problems.
Review code, manage sprint planning, plan releases, prioritize workloads.
