Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited seeks a Firmware Engineering Manager in Mentor, Ohio. You will lead embedded C/C++ firmware development for high-power SCR/IGBT control systems, while mentoring a team of engineers and guiding software architecture and project delivery across the full lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in power electronics and a track record of leadership, with a clear path toward Director of Software Engineering and long-term autonomy in a technical leadership

Qualifications

Embedded C/C++ firmware development experience is required.
Experience with power electronics, power conversion, power generation or high-voltage industrial systems preferred.
Leadership experience or desire to move into management.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of embedded C/C++ firmware for high-power SCR/IGBT-based control systems.
Manage, mentor and develop a team of Embedded Software Engineers while driving engineering best practices.
Oversee software architecture, hardware integration, debugging, validation and project delivery from concept through to production.
