Job summary

AMD offers a full-time co-op/internship in Secaucus, NJ, with hybrid or onsite work. Duration options include Spring/Summer 2027 and Summer/Fall terms. You will craft and validate features on reference hardware, participate in design and code reviews, and build documentation while learning AGILE processes.

You must be enrolled in a US Master’s program (EE/CS/CE) with C/C++, embedded systems, Linux, and FPGA basics; familiarity with Perforce/JIRA/Git is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a US-based university for a Master’s program in EE/CS/CE or related field.
  • Knowledge of C/C++ and hardware architectures is desired.
  • Experience with Linux development and embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Craft, implement, debug, and validate features on reference hardware and software.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and project planning.
  • Build clear documentation for software produced and work on AGILE processes.
  • Engage in firmware work including x86 firmware development using C and HW boundary debugging.
