Job summary

RTX in Largo, Florida, is seeking a firmware/ASIC-oriented engineer to generate firmware requirements and documentation from system architecture, and to design HDL-based digital circuits with readable structure.

What You Will Do
  • Generate firmware requirements based on the system architecture
  • Generate firmware documentation that describes the firmware architecture

  • Create scripts to automate build, integration, and test activities
  • Verify target device functionality in laboratory environment
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with C/C++, HLS, or UVM
  • Experience with programmable logic development tools (e.g. ISE, Vivado, Quartus II, Libero, Synplify)
  • Linux scripting experience (bash shells, make files, Tcl, Python)
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Curriculum geared towards embedded systems
  • Previous co-op/internship/projects experience implementing and verifying firmware
  • Experience with source control (e.g. GIT, SVN, ClearCase)

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
