Job summary

Resideo is seeking a Firmware Engineer I to develop firmware for embedded products, participate in design reviews, and help move prototypes to mass production. You will create project and technical reports as required and assist in defining product architecture.

You will collaborate with hardware, systems, and test teams, write scripts and tools, and contribute to documentation and architecture decisions. Hybrid work in Minnesota supported.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of embedded firmware development using C/C++.
• Experience in writing firmware for embedded devices.
• Experience with software development environments such as Visual Studio and IAR Embedded Workbench.

Responsibilities

• Work on all aspects embedded software development projects – design, development, review, and test; drive innovation across hardware, software, and wireless protocols.
• Design and develop embedded software/firmware for Connected Home products; coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver software modules and documentation.
