This role involves autonomously debugging and resolving bugs to ensure high-quality fixed code across our complete in-market product portfolio. Collaborating with various teams, including Post Launch Engineering Dev, Surface UEFI engineers, and other software professionals, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our Surface products.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently debug and identify root causes of bugs in market products.
• Contribute to bug fixes and feature revisions for improved product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues affecting Surface customers.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ overall years of experience in the field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development for consumer PC or electronics products.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in C language development, assembly, and C#.
• Experience with UEFI and ACPI development.
• Strong knowledge of GIT for code management.
• Familiarity with Project Mu, Python scripting, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to debug modern multiprocessor systems using hardware tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of board hardware schematics and Intel processors is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts effectively.
• Self-driven with strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Additional Details

• Location: Redmond, WA (Building 88)
• Duration: 1 Month
• Pay Range: $58 - 65.50
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
