Job summary

OnLogic, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on firmware/embedded co‑op for January–June 2027 in Cary, NC or South Burlington, VT. You will work with firmware engineers on development across CPUs, SoCs, and microcontrollers, from concept to production, gaining exposure to full lifecycle activities.

The role requires an undergraduate student in CS/CE/EE with C and Assembly knowledge, Linux/Windows familiarity, and availability for up to 40 hours per week. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Experience with C and Assembly language.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows environments and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Document firmware requirements with product teams.
• Perform bare metal firmware development.
• Port RTOS and develop device drivers.
• Build infrastructure for firmware build, test and release.
• Support development processes and product certification.
