Job summary

Maania Digital in the United States seeks an experienced embedded firmware engineer to join our team in Cedar Park, TX. The role requires 5+ years in embedded firmware development under Linux, with proven delivery of real‑world projects using bare‑metal or RTOS applications such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.

Candidates must be proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems, with assembly a plus, and comfortable working with I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, and Ethernet.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of professional experience in embedded firmware development in Linux environments.
• Experience delivering embedded firmware as bare-metal or RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr).
• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded systems; assembly is a plus.
• Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and related IDEs.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident eligibility (security requirement).

• Proven track record of delivering real-world industry projects involving embedded firmware developed as bare-metal or RTOS applications (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar).
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems, with experience in assembly language as a plus.
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, etc.) and real-time system constraints.
• Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and embedded development environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
