Job summary

MaximaTek is seeking an entry-level Firmware Engineer – Embedded Systems to join our engineering team in the United States. This role targets fresh graduates and early-career professionals with a background in electrical or computer engineering, CS, or related fields.

You will develop firmware for embedded devices, work with microcontrollers, and contribute to integration, testing, and troubleshooting. A strong foundation in programming and willingness to learn new technologies are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in software, firmware, embedded systems, or related area.
• Strong programming fundamentals and knowledge of C or C++.
• Understanding of embedded systems concepts.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain firmware for embedded systems and electronic devices.
• Write and debug software using C/C++.
• Work with microcontrollers and embedded hardware platforms.
• Assist with firmware development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze technical issues and support root‑cause identification.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate embedded solutions.
