Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

As a member of Kuiper MAC-SW, you will be responsible for delivering embedded firmware code running on ground networks, customer terminals, and satellites. You will focus on designing, developing, and testing Kuiper-MAC firmware, working as part of a cross-functional team to develop wireless technology that will enable millions to stay connected.

Export Control Requirement

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents due to export control laws.

Key job responsibilities

• Define performance requirements and optimize firmware for embedded environments.
• Build and debug firmware components in Kuiper embedded systems.
• Profile and execute code on RTOS or bare-metal environments.
• Define, document, test, and debug firmware-hardware interfaces.
