Epitec is seeking a Firmware Software Engineer to join our client’s team, where candidates will be responsible for developing and testing firmware for cutting-edge consumer electronics products.

** Its a W2 role , no C2C /1099 accepted ***

** Its a Remote role in Oregon, US** (Preference will be for local candidates)

Summary:

This ideal for individuals who are passionate about working at the intersection of hardware and software and want to contribute to Automated Testing / Continuous Integration improvements and Dashboard development to monitor firmware health projects.

Must have skills:

• 2-4 years of experience in developing and testing firmware Software
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Deep understanding of testing strategies and test development for embedded device
• Proficiency in debugging embedded firmware code.

Nice to have skills:

• Prior experience in defining/executing a test strategy for a consumer embedded device.

• Experience with CI tooling.

• Experience with Jest end-to-end testing.

Education:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred.
